AffiAB® MUC5AC Antibody

SensiStain Anti-MUC5AC Antibody detects for mucin 5AC (MUC5AC), a secretory-type mucin found in columnar mucous cells of surface gastric epithelium, in goblet cells of the fetal, and in precancerous colon, but is not found in normal colon cells. Therefore is a unique marker to detect colorectal carcinomas in which overexpression have been associated with carcinogenesis, malignant potential, and progression.
